Energy Performance Lead

Energy engineering – RE2020 – Design of thermal systems

ARKEMEP (ARKORIS Group) – Aix-en-Provence Agency

ARKEMEP, the thermal, acoustic, and fluid engineering office of the ARKORIS group, works with public and private project owners on the design and management of building energy systems. Our expertise covers environmental performance (RE2020), the sizing of HVAC, ventilation, hydraulic, and electrical systems, as well as project optimization with a low-carbon approach. As part of our development, we are recruiting a Energy Performance Lead to structure, secure and support the energy performance processes of construction and renovation projects.

Your mission: to design, optimize, guarantee

You will be responsible for energy performance studies and system sizing, ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements. You will contribute to the technical robustness of projects, from initial studies to implementation monitoring, in coordination with architects, engineering firms, and internal group teams.

Your main responsibilities

  • Carry out RE2020 energy performance studies : simulations, calculations, scenario analyses, sizing of thermal and HVAC installations.
  • Produce the regulatory certificates : PC16-1 and associated documents, formalization of performance commitments.
  • Design the basic plans : insulation, ventilation, thermal systems, in conjunction with other building trades (acoustics, ecology, certification).
  • Optimizing technical solutions : integrating low-carbon objectives, analyzing construction choices, and identifying levers for improvement.
  • Coordinate and structure : ensure the technical synthesis of studies, monitor deliverables, guarantee quality and adherence to deadlines.
  • Participating in project meetings : dialogue with project owners, contribution to technical arbitrations, securing operational milestones.
Expected profile

  • Bac+5 degree in energy, thermal or building engineering.
  • Proven experience in design office or project management in the field of energy performance.
  • Expertise in RE2020, RT2012 regulations, HVAC systems, and thermal simulation tools.
  • Analytical skills, methodological rigor, ability to synthesize information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, stable posture in project coordination.
Why join ARKEMEP?

  • A clear position: independent engineering, rooted in technical and regulatory robustness.
  • A cross-functional environment: interaction with the certification, diagnostics, and ecology departments of the ARKORIS group.
  • A stable framework: permanent contract, executive status, 37 hours, 12 RTT days, profit sharing, performance bonuses.
  • A respectful organization: controlled hours, agency located in Aix-en-Provence (Milles business park), multimodal access.
  • A dynamic of evolution: internal and external training, skills development towards broader functions.
