IRICE, a COFRAC-accredited (ISO 17065) certification body and subsidiary of the ARKORIS group, acts as an independent third party in the assessment of biodiversity and sustainability in real estate projects. We issue Effinature and Biodiversity Performance Score (BPS) certifications, with a rigorous methodological approach based on measurement, traceability, and robust processes. As part of our expanding operations, we are recruiting a Biodiversity Assessor, responsible for ensuring the independent evaluation of projects according to the Effinature and BPS standards.

Your mission: to evaluate, guarantee, and structure

You will be responsible for processing biodiversity certification applications. You will analyze the compliance of projects with the requirements of the Effinature and BPS standards, in conjunction with Biodiversity Partners and project owners. You will contribute to the reliability of the certification process, in accordance with the COFRAC accreditation framework and IRICE internal procedures.

Your main responsibilities

  • Processing certification files : analysis of elements submitted by Biodiversity Partners, verification of evidence, scoring, validation of scores.
  • Ensuring the rigor of assessments : compliance with the requirements of the Effinature and BPS standards, justification of decisions, complete traceability of assessments.
  • Engage in dialogue with project stakeholders : technical exchanges with approved partners, project owners and biodiversity project management assistance providers, clarification of expectations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of practices : feedback, participation in internal reviews, consolidation of the evaluation doctrine.
  • Participate in internal audits and accreditation maintenance : compliance with ISO 17065 procedures, involvement in quality controls.

Expected profile

  • Bac+5 degree in ecology, environment, biological engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in biodiversity diagnostics, ecological assessment or environmental certification.
  • Good command of environmental regulations (Environmental Code, ERC, TVB), fauna-flora-habitat inventory methods and GIS tools.
  • Rigour, analytical skills, methodological rigor.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, stable posture in exchanges with partners and project stakeholders.
  • An Effinature qualification or in-depth knowledge of BPS standards is an asset.
